Our Story
About Epic Himachal
Who we are
Home-grown in the
Western Himalayas.
Epic Himachal began as a one-guide outfit in Manali. What started as a single trekker leading friends up the Beas Kund trail has grown into a team of UIAGM-certified guides, wilderness responders and local logistics specialists who have walked, mapped and re-mapped every route we offer.
We work almost exclusively with guides, cooks and porters born in the valleys we travel through — Kullu, Spiti, Lahaul and the Dhauladhar. That local-first approach shapes everything: the homestays we book, the trails we choose, the pace we set.
We measure success by how lightly we leave the mountain — and how ready our travellers are for the next one.

What we stand for
Mountain craft, not mass tourism.
Local mountain craft
Every route is led by guides born in the valleys we travel through — not flown in from elsewhere.
Safety-first
Wilderness first responders, oxygen on-trail, satellite comms above 3,000 m on every expedition.
Small groups
Maximum 14 trekkers per departure — small enough that your guide knows your name by day two.
Leave no trace
Community-run homestays, waste-carry-out policy and a standing commitment to the valleys we work in.
